Audrey Bentley grew up in Upstate New York. She and her husband, David, have been living in Dar es Salaam since July 2014. They have a one year old son, named Theo. They are currently studying Swahili, and looking for opportunities to join God in bringing His transformation to Tanzania. Audrey loves the way Sifa Threads practically embodies this vision and Christ's love in the lives of young women. She will be helping to get the retail shop up and running at Sifa Threads and is so thankful for the opportunity to get to know the girls and help in whatever small ways she is able.
Brooklyn Sims is the Creativity and Communications Coordinator for Neema House, a small non-profit organization in Dar es Salaam that works with discipleship training and community development projects. She and her husband, Jonathan have lived in Tanzania since the summer of 2014 and have since welcomed their son, Denver, into the world in May of 2015. Brooklyn is an artist with a degree in Graphic Design and has a passion for creatively working with marginalized women to find their true identity in Christ. Brooklyn volunteers with Sifa Threads to build relationships with the women there and to help out in whatever way she can.
